We are in need of a full-time Accountant to join our team at our offices outside Durbanville. We manage five companies, each with their own set of books. You will report to the Financial Manager but will work largely independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform stock reconciliations and process related journals
• Ensure invoices are SARS compliant
• Prepare and process month-end journals
• Handle intercompany invoices and related calculations
• Maintain Hire Purchase schedules and monthly allocations
• Capture new assets on Hire Purchase agreements
• Maintain and update a large Fixed Asset Register monthly (for 4 companies)
• Calculate depreciation and process monthly depreciation journals
• Process opening balance journals after audit completion
• Reconcile internal loan accounts
• Manage rental invoicing and rent collections
