Summary This position is located in the Division of Finance, Controller Branch, Headquarters of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support by planning and developing reports to support the administration, operation, and maintenance of an effective accounting and financial information system, accounting process, and financial reporting program benefiting the FDIC. Responsibilities At the full performance level, major duties include: Assists in developing new practices and techniques that will result in a more effective and efficient accounting and report process. Develops analytical, accounting or financial reports in response to special assignments and requests. Prepares worksheets and schedules to support financial statements, analytical reports, trial balances, and reconciliations.
