About Our Client Our client is looking to hire a Accountant / Financial Analyst on a 3-month contract basis.
About the Opportunity - On-site in Calgary, AB (5 days/week, 37.5 hours)
- Reports to the Corporate Accounting Manager
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis
- Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and cash flow analysis
- Support financial analysis, forecasting, and margin/inventory reporting
- Assist with month-end close and year-end audit preparation
- Work closely with finance, treasury, and accounting teams
About You - Accounting experience with full-cycle accounting exposure
- Experience supporting financial reporting and month-end close
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Audit experience considered an asset
- CPA designation or CPA in progress considered an asset
