Position: Accountant
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: Finance Manager / Chief Accountant
Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting - Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely preparation and finalisation of accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Taxation & Compliance - Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, including VAT, Corporate Tax, withholding tax, and other statutory requirements.
