About the Opportunity
- Help sell the company’s products and services in a way that supports the company’s yearly business goals and profits.
- Stay in regular contact with customers by phone, email, or in-person meetings, and share important customer feedback with management.
- Create yearly sales plans and forecasts, then track sales results and explain any major differences from the plan.
- Keep track of important staff changes at customer companies to maintain strong business relationships.
- Plan and negotiate pricing based on market conditions, both for long-term business agreements and daily sales opportunities.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns quickly, working with technical staff when needed to solve problems.
- Work with departments such as quality control, purchasing, production, and shipping to make sure customer orders are completed correctly and on time.
