Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Academic Support, the Academic Support Specialist is a member of the Learner Academic Support team and supports academic functions.
Responsibilities
- Attend the weekly Learner Review Committee and bring up-to-date information on learners to inform decisions regarding student statuses.
- Maintain regular contact with assigned learners and follow the Committee’s process and guidelines.
- Identify at‑risk learners and add them to the Committee ahead of meetings.
- Oversee academic plans and offer direct support to students.
- Facilitate student requests for additional academic support.
- Ensure the accuracy of student records in Salesforce and the student learning management system.
- Communicate student feedback to internal and external departments.
- Interpret, monitor, and examine academic reports and raise concerns to the Manager.
