The J. Mike Walker ’66 Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for three full-time, academic professional track (non-tenure) positions at the instructional assistant professor, instructional associate professor, or instructional professor level, with a 9-month academic appointment, and the possibility of an additional summer appointment contingent upon need and availability of funds, beginning Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.

The successful applicant will be required to teach undergraduate courses in one or more core areas of mechanical engineering: Design & Computer-Aided Engineering, Dynamics & Controls, Materials Manufacturing & Mechanics, and Thermo-Fluids & Heat Transfer. The successful applicant ...
