This is a part-time (0.2 FTE) term position ending August 19, 2027.
The Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the teaching, administration and maintenance of SOCI 290, SOCI 300, SOCI 378/CMNS 385, and SOCI 381. Other duties include supervising and monitoring the performance of course tutors, handling student issues such as grade appeals, course credit challenges, academic misconduct cases and transfer credit requests, and providing service to the Centre for Social Sciences (attending meetings held by the Centre and by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences).
Minimum: Masterβs degree in Sociology; preferred: PhD. Experience in distance and online learning and familiarity with digital teaching technologies are preferred.
