Job Title: 8th Grade Teacher

Position Summary
The 8th Grade Teacher is responsible for providing rigorous, standards-based instruction to prepare students for a successful transition to high school. This role focuses on supporting students’ academic growth, critical thinking skills, and social-emotional development while maintaining a structured and engaging classroom environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction in assigned subject area(s) (e.g., Math, English Language Arts, Science, or Social Studies).

+ Prepare students for high school readiness through challenging coursework and skill development.

+ Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with IEPs, 504 plans, and English Learners.

+ Use data and assessments to monitor student progress and guide instructional decisions.
