Starting minimum salary $65,000 (commensurate with experience) - This is a supervisory position involving responsibility for the efficient and economical cleaning of (9) District Buildings, including exterior facilities. The work is performed under general supervision allowing wide leeway for the exercise of independent judgment in keeping buildings and facilities up to approved standards of cleanliness and operational readiness. Immediate supervision is exercised over the work of a large number of subordinate custodial personnel. Typical work activities include: Makes routine inspections of each building during first and second shifts to maintain proper cleaning procedures and cleanliness standards; Checks all buildings to ensure that they are heated, cleaned, locked, or in readiness condition for all activities; Schedules and assigns custodial staff to the various buildings; Authorizes and tracks leave time and arranges for substitute cleaners as ...
