The Lower School Classroom Teacher understands and promotes the school’s mission, vision, objectives, and policies within the immediate school community. The candidate should demonstrate a passion for Christ and his Kingdom and should seek to grow in that relationship with Christ through personal spiritual discipline, education, accountability, and service. The 6th grade math teacher is responsible for planning lessons using our Singapore math curriculum, using class data to drive instruction, tracking student progress, providing a rich learning environment, managing student behavior and classroom resources, and communicating with parents, students, and administration. They are part of a 6th grade core team of science, language arts, and humanities teachers that work collaboratively together.
