Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and records
- Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
- Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met
- Train and supervise accounting staff as needed
