This position will serve as a Program Area Leader for a specialty program area (such as Arts & Crafts, Nature-Outdoors-Learning & Science (NOLS), Shooting Sports, Teamwork & Recreational Sports, High Adventure, Waterfront) for 4-H Camp Overlook, an overnight summer camp owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Franklin and St. Lawrence County, located in Owls Head, New York. The primary responsibility of this position is to further the mission of camp through the development and delivery of 4-H programming that is safe, fun and appropriate to the campers’ ages and abilities. Job duties will include, but not be limited to: assisting with weekly program design, implementing afternoon and evening programs and activities, assisting in daily operations of 4-H Camp Overlook as directed; and supervising 4-H campers and counseling staff.
