This position will serve as Assistant Camp Director for 4-H Camp Overlook, an overnight summer camp owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Franklin and St. Lawrence County, located in Owls Head, New York. The primary responsibility of this position is to further the mission of camp by assisting the Camp Director with administration, management and supervision of staff and campers. Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting the Camp Director with design, delivery and evaluation of a summer camp program that meets the needs and interests of campers and parents, assisting in the implementation of afternoon and evening programs; assisting in daily operations, assisting with supervision of 4-H campers and counseling staff, and assisting with weekly camp paperwork – online registration and scheduling, camp store, day camper sign in, and reviewing and maintaining paperwork/logs as required.
