2nd Shift CNC Operator


Your main responsibilities

The position will focus on learning the basic aspects of operating the CNC system(s), with the emphasis on the shearing and punching operations. Programs, sets up, and operates multipurpose machines to perform any combination of operations such as automated punching and shearing to meet production schedules in accordance with predetermined standards. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 2ND SHIFT.

+ Inspect production for conformance to specifications (first piece inspection).

+ Operate DNC controlled shear, punch, forming machine, laser and automated warehouse.

+ Utilize punches, dies, measuring tape, hand tools, digital protractor, calipers and other equipment.

+ Select and load raw material required and initiate production.

+ Interfaces with computer system for production control, program editing, preventive maintenance, and SAP.
