Position Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting is responsible for conducting student evaluations and delivering therapy services in accordance with each studentβs individualized plan of care and physician orders, when applicable. The SLP also ensures accurate and timely documentation while collaborating with educational staff to support student progress and communication development.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment required
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required per state or contract
+ Adherence to all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR certification, if applicable
+ TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray), if applicable
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulations)
