2616 Payroll Specialist

Our client is seeking Payroll Specialist with 4+ years experience for a new 6 month contract-to- perm role in west GTA. As a member of an experienced payroll team, you will assist with full payroll processing for over 1000 national employees.

Office: Hybrid, 3 days in office.

Abbreviated Duties:

• Hands on processing of a large (1000+), complex, national payroll.
• Oversee the preparation, processing, maintenance and distribution of a payroll information, payroll reports, payroll manuals and related payroll working instructions.
• Processing: salary/wage increases, benefit deductions, employee terminations, new hire setup, salary/wages changes, benefit deductions, terminations
• Ensure processes and systems comply with Canadian provincial and federal legislation.
• Update documents, policies, processes as needed.
