The Department of Sociology seeks qualified faculty to teach undergraduate courses, including:
SOC 1: Introduction to Sociology
SOC 3: Critical Thinking about Society
SOC 111: Race & Ethnicity
SOC 125: Social Science Statistics
SOC 130W: Contemporary Social Issues (Writing Course)
Other courses as needed to fulfill the department’s educational goals.
Instructor Responsibilities
Temporary faculty members must adhere to and implement university and system-wide policies as directed per Academic Policy Manual 306, paragraph 2. Responsibilities include preparing, delivering, conducting, proctoring, and grading lectures;
holding office hours;
