• Title : Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Laparoscopic Surgery
• Department : Paediatric Surgery
• Base : Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, Edinburgh
• Duration : 12 months (fixed term), full time (40 hours per week)
• Locations : Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (RHCYP) with potential work at other NHS Lothian sites

Roles and Responsibilities

• Gain experience in minimal access paediatric surgery, including laparoscopic GI surgery, urology and thoracoscopy.
• Participate in out‑of‑hours non‑resident on‑call rota.
• Support the paediatric surgical team under the guidance of senior consultants.
• Assist with case planning and operative rehearsals.
