The full-time (1.0 FTE) Prevocational Medical Education Fellow (MEF) role at Te Toka Tumai is open for applications for the 2027 Training Year.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Training (DCT) and working with the CETU team, the MEF will be responsible for delivering and supporting the education, training, and wellbeing of prevocational house officers at Te Toka Tumai.

Responsibilities of the MEF include:

·PGY1 and PGY2 medical education and teaching

·Providing orientation to house officers new to Te Toka Tumai

·The advocacy, mentoring, and pastoral and professional support of house officers

·Quality improvement initiatives

·Being the liaison between the House Officers and Te Toka Tumai leadership team
