Attendance Coordinator
The Attendance Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, tracking, and improving student attendance to support academic success and compliance with state and local attendance laws. This role works closely with students, families, teachers, and administration to address attendance barriers and promote a culture of consistent school attendance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Maintain accurate daily attendance records using the schoolβs student information system
+ Monitor student attendance trends and identify patterns of absenteeism and tardiness
+ Communicate with families regarding absences, tardies, and attendance concerns
+ Ensure compliance with state attendance laws, including truancy reporting and documentation
