To support the Air Navigation Services (ANS) Safety Management System (SMS) Manager and Deputy Manager in the development, maintenance and implementation of an effective SMS across the ANS

Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Support the ANS SMS Manager in maintaining oversight of the SMS on behalf of the accountable manager
• Conduct ATS investigations and trend analysis to identify safety risks within the organisation and in conjunction with external agencies, contractors and stakeholders as appropriate
• Develop recommendations to address identified safety risks and collaborat e with relevant departments for mitigation
• Perform / facilitate hazard identification and safety risk analysis in accordance with the SMS
• Assist all departments in development and oversight of unit safety cases and other safety assurance
