Position Overview
Title: Quality Engineer II
Location: Chicago, IL, 60629
Duration: 6+ Months with possible extension.
Pay Range: $40-44.92/hr
This position is 100% onsite at the Chicago bakery, working 3rd shift to start (11pm to 7am, M-F) with a possible move to 2nd shift and weekends so flexibility is critical.
Education / Certifications:
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Job specific requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in quality, food safety, or manufacturing roles.
• Experience executing quality holds, investigations, and documentation.
• Willingness to work assigned production shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).
• Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory requirements (e.g., QCMS, HACCP, FSSC)...
